Barney is a specialist in the use of technology in language teaching and has written several books. Before becoming a teacher, Barney studied in the United States and also lived in Australia where he worked in the shipping industry. He has been a business English teacher for twenty years and has worked in Spain and the UK. As a teacher, he enjoys helping people communicate better in business meetings and social situations. Barney is a keen cyclist and loves going to hear classical music. Barney’s latest book is Understanding Headlines (also available from Smashwords).
